1. What we do not do

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not request your name, email address, phone number, financial details or identity documents. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not collect it in the first place.

2. Information stored in your browser

Your display preference (light or dark mode) is stored locally in your browser so the site remembers it on your next visit. This value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

3. Third-party requests

Two categories of external request occur while reading this site. Web fonts are loaded from a font provider, and the market ticker retrieves public cryptocurrency prices from a public market data API. Both requests necessarily expose your IP address and browser user-agent to those providers, as any web request does. Neither receives personal information from us, because we hold none.

If a price request fails, the ticker simply keeps its last known values. No data is stored as a result.

4. Server logs

Our hosting infrastructure may retain standard technical logs — IP address, timestamp, requested path, user-agent — for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not used to build profiles, are not combined with other data sources, and are retained only as long as needed for operational purposes.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may hold rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection in relation to personal data. Because we do not maintain user records, in practice there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or delete. Requests relating to server logs can be made through the contact route described in our about page.

6. Children

This site is not directed at children and its subject matter is inappropriate for them. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of eighteen.

7. Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — for example, if analytics were ever introduced — this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the nature of the change will be described plainly rather than buried in a definitions section.
